Abstract

The presentation explores the possibilities of reading the work of Kurt Schneider from a phenomeno-structural perspective. We identify two general trends in the appropriation of the works of authors who position themselves outside this tradition: one that tends towards translation and another towards interpretation. In this work, we favor the interpretative reading of Schneider's work through a dual movement: the analysis of the nosological organization inherited from Jaspers and the First-Rank Symptoms. The legacy of empirical dualism and the key of comprehensibility-incomprehensibility creates constraints that ultimately produce an overlap between psychopathology and nosology.
